WELCOME
I’m glad you’re here. I know it can be hard to prioritize your mental health when life is hectic with so many obligations. I hope to create a space where you can take time to care for yourself and your mental wellbeing. This site will tell you a bit about me and my approach to therapy.
PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES
I provide individual counseling for adolescents and adults who are navigating various life challenges. I primarily work with those who are grieving the death of a loved one or experiencing other major life transitions and losses. I have provided traumatic grief counseling for several years, supporting those who have lost someone to suicide or overdose. I enjoy working with young adults, those who identify as neurodivergent and folks with developmental disabilities and their families.
During our first sessions, we will spend time exploring the reasons why you are seeking counseling. I will likely ask some questions about your background, interests, family and friends, to help me to gain an understanding of some of your past experiences and learn about the people and things that are most important to you. Throughout the course of our work together, we will explore your values and your relationship with others and yourself.
I believe that therapy should be collaborative and validating. I hope to create an environment where you will feel safe and supported to process your emotions and experiences. I see each client as an individual with unique needs and strengths and prefer to use a combination of several therapeutic modalities and tools including narrative therapy, mindfulness, and ACT.

ABOUT ME
I recently moved back to Ohio after living in Chicago for many years. I attended Dominican University and studied Sociology and Political Science. I then received my Masters from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration.
I am a clinician and psychotherapist, but I am first and foremost a social worker. The values of self-determination, social justice, and cultural humility inform and guide my practice. I strive to be accepting and affirming of the racial, gender, disability, and ethnic identities of each of my clients.
I believe in the importance of self-care for myself and my clients. In my free time, I like to go beach combing, take trips to the library, and watch women’s sports.
I am looking forward to meeting you!
